Vancouver’s Host Nations

and Métis Nation BC

Vancouver is a City situated on the unceded Homelands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, and is a City of Reconciliation. Our three Host Nations have provided permission for us to produce our Canada 150+ events.

City staff and Liaisons from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations are collaborating on our signature events. We are guided by the values of mutual respect and trust which are defined in our Statements of Cooperation.
